1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, single (never married, divorced, or widowed), and seeking marriage in accordance with Islamic principles. Profiles created for any other purpose will be removed.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. One person, one account. Misrepresenting your age, gender, or marital status results in permanent removal.

For your protection, all members (other than administrators) are required to change their account password at least once every 6 months. You will be prompted in the app when your password is due for renewal. Sessions are also automatically signed out after 15 minutes of inactivity.

3. Member conduct

By using Sakinah Mawaddah you agree to:

• Treat every member with respect, modesty, and good adab.
• Not send sexually explicit, harassing, or threatening content.
• Not use the platform to solicit money, promote businesses, or recruit for unrelated causes.
• Not impersonate anyone or use someone else's photos.
• Not contact members outside the platform until both sides have agreed.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Premium features are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel from your Settings page at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are issued only where required by law.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend, ban, or delete any account that breaches these terms. Multiple verified reports against an account can trigger an automatic suspension while we investigate.

6. Disclaimer

Sakinah Mawaddah is a platform that helps Muslims meet for the purpose of marriage. We do not guarantee compatibility, marriage outcomes, or the truthfulness of any member's claims. Always involve your family in major decisions.

7. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the new terms.
